The Reluctant Caregiver
The Reluctant Caregiver is a profound exploration of my 17 years of caregiving for my mother, intertwined with a burgeoning curiosity about the secrets she carried throughout her life. Each image becomes a vessel, rich with memory and emotion, allowing me to explore the narratives that shape life. All images are one-of-a-kind photographs printed on Japanese Kozo paper and hand-painted with gouache. Select images include stitching and embroidery.
